What language do they speak in Switzerland?

Switzerland has 4 official languages. Swiss German, French, Italian and Romansh .

Swiss German is spoked in the major part of the country. They call it Swytzerditsch, and it's a bit differently to German.

French is spoken mainly in the west of the country. Geneva and Lausanne are cities in the French side of Switzerland.

Italian is spoked in the south of Switzerland.

Romansh is a language spoked in the eastern canton of Graubünden. It's an official language of Switzerland since 1938.

Most younger people have learned English in school and speak it well enough. You will find people speaking English in popular tourist destinations in Switzerland. Even swiss cats seem to understand us travelers.
